Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 dry Cheesy Italian Shells Mix Packet
  • 1 1/2 cups small pasta shells (conchiglie)
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups milk
  • (optional) 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or parmesan

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet and drain if needed.
  2. Add water, milk, pasta shells, and the Cheesy Italian Shells dry mix packet.
  3. Bring to a low simmer.
  4. Cover and cook 12–14 minutes, stirring often, until the pasta shells are tender.
  5. (Optional) Stir in mozzarella or parmesan for extra creaminess.
  6. Let rest 2 minutes before serving to allow the sauce to thicken.
